• Dan Frisch gave a very interesting Q & A about the movie TRT at the Kanas City Film Festival.  With his permission we have it loaded for you to watch.  Enjoy!

• We are gearing up for the 2008 David-a-thon.  Need some feedback on 2009 calendars - please go to DJE fans Care.
• Hey - if you are in the Kansas City area this Saturday - don't forget about the Kansas International Film Festival.  Dan Frisch the writer and producer of the movie hopes to be there.  If Dan does make it there will be a nice Q&A after the movie.

• Encouraging all New Yorker's or anyone in the vicinity to attend the Ace Film Festival this Saturday in New York city!
• Good news!  Received an email from Dan Frisch, writer and producer for the movie The Rainbow Tribe, in which he announced that David will be attending the Opening gala at the Feel Good Film Festival this Friday (Aug 22) in Hollywood. He is encouraging all fans who can to come out. Tickets to the "Opening Night" can be obtained through the Festival Site or at the Official Site. See you there!
• Rainbow Tribe to have an official website, please continue to watch that page and be sure to join in when the 'Blog Us' link works. The producer has shared that it could help with getting the movie released.
• August calendar and TV schedule are up.
• Rainbow Tribe will be part of the Friday Night Opening Gala at the Feel Good Film Festival in Hollywood on Aug 22.
• David's movie The Rainbow Tribe will be shown at 3 Film Festivals!  The first is in Pasadena CA (check the 2008 nominees) on July 26, then in Providence RI on Aug 5, and third in NYC on Sept 6.  At the AOF Film Festival, (Pasadena) Rainbow tribe is up for a number of awards including Outstanding Cast Performance and Best Picture.
• David to star in a new Sci-Fi mini-series with the working title "Mirabilis". 
• JAG Season 7 is scheduled to be released on DVD
  on Nov. 4th!!

• *Please join us Saturday night at the message board after the airing of the movie Love Sick for a discussion of the movie with the author of the book, Sue Silverman.  Recognising that it will be quite late when the movie finishes and taking into consideration the time difference, Ms. Silverman has agreed to be available on Sunday afternoon as well at 3:00PM.

• David is set to guest star on a new Canadian Television series Search and Rescue  which is scheduled to premiere in March 2008.  Read Press Release
• I made a big blunder and I must apologize.  When I announced the raffles for the David-a-thon I stated that there would be 5 pulls for the Conlon DVD and I only pulled one winning ticket.  Sheesh!  So the additional winners are... • A Movie Update on Love Sick at Sue Silverman's site states that the movie is scheduled to air on Lifetime in March of 2008.
• David is a contender for The Viewer's Choice Award (part of the Gemini Awards).  The winner is picked entirely by the TV watching public via online balloting.  Click Here to Vote.  You can vote once every 24 hours.  (Although everyone can vote - only Canadians are eligible to win the gift bag advertised at the site - per the rules.)  So go vote for David!
